AV Service Engineer

Location: London (Field Based)

Salary: £35,000 - £55,000 DOE

Benefits: 20 days annual leave + bank holidays, laptop, phone, specialist tools, travel expenses, pension

The Company:

This multi award-winning residential AV integrator has built an excellent reputation for installing top-of-the-range home cinema rooms, luxury home automation systems, and bespoke commercial offices for high-profile clients.

The Role:

We are seeking a dedicated AV Service Engineer to provide preventative maintenance, remote and on-site service support to our high-profile clients.

Key duties include:

• Troubleshooting issues with residential AV hardware and control systems including home cinemas, access control, audio systems, touch panels, projectors, Lutron, Control 4, and Crestron systems.
• Performing preventative maintenance to ensure installed systems continue to run smoothly.
• Updating control systems.
• Configuring and troubleshooting network-related issues.
• Installing small upgrades and replacements for AV devices.
• Occasionally working on an on-call rotation.

Essential Qualities and Skills:

• 1+ years of experience servicing or commissioning residential AV systems.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to put clients at ease.
• Strong networking knowledge with the ability to configure and troubleshoot network-related issues.

Preferred Qualities and Skills:

• Programming experience with Control 4 or Lutron.
