Location: Northern Region - Postcodes: L, CH, LL, CW, WA, PR, ST
Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious Area Sales Manager to join our fast-growing company, covering the Northern Region postcodes: L, CH, LL, CW, WA, PR, ST. While lighting experience is desirable, it is not essential for this role. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn to be a sales professional as part of an experienced regional team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop relationships with Wholesale Branch Managers, Buyers, and Trade Counters.
- Follow monthly call plans to ensure all customers are visited each month.
- Target upcoming project opportunities and assist wholesalers in specifying products to their customers through training and product advice.
- Promote and sell quality lighting products through a B2B route to market.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sales or customer relations.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage a designated sales region effectively.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Living in or close to the relevant area of cover is essential.
Day-to-Day:
- Visit and maintain relationships with Wholesale Branch Managers, Buyers, and Trade Counters.
- Implement monthly call plans and seek upcoming project opportunities.
- Provide product advice and support to wholesalers to help specify products to their customers.
- Input and maintain information in the company CRM.
