Salary: £50,000 - £60,000

About the Role
My client, a leading provider of BMS service and maintenance solutions, is seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of Service & Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) Contracts across Essex, Sussex and London.
This is a field-based, client-facing role where you'll take ownership of key accounts, ensuring contract compliance, client satisfaction and commercial growth. You will play a vital role in managing service delivery, renewals, and identifying upsell opportunities within the BMS environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of BMS Service & PPM contracts across the South Eastregion
- Act as the key point of contact for existing clients, leading performance reviews and driving client satisfaction
- Monitor KPIs and SLAs, taking proactive steps to address any service issues
- Develop and present proposals for contract renewals, upgrades, or additional services
- Collaborate closely with service delivery teams to ensure high-quality execution of maintenance works
- Maintain strong financial oversight across accounts, including forecasting and profitability
- Support business development by identifying new opportunities within existing client sites
Candidate Profile
My client is looking for a commercially minded professional with a background in technical service environments-particularly within BMS, HVAC, or facilities management.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in managing service-based contracts
- Strong understanding of BMS systems (e.g. Trend, Siemens, Tridium, Honeywell)
- Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management skills
- Commercial acumen with the ability to spot opportunities and influence decision-making
- Full UK driving licence with the flexibility to travel across Essex, Sussex, and London
Desirable:
- Experience working for or with FM providers, building services contractors, or BMS integrators
- Previous technical experience in BMS service, commissioning, or maintenance
