 Join a Growing AV Team Making a Real Impact

We're hiring a skilled AV Installation Engineer to join a long-standing and respected AV integrator supporting schools, councils, and commercial environments across Scotland.

This is a hands-on, site-based role where you’ll take ownership of installation and commissioning tasks, mentor junior staff, and contribute to a friendly and high-performing engineering team of 16.

The Role:

Working closely with senior engineers and reporting to the Install Manager, you'll be involved in:

• Installing cabling and containment systems to a high standard
• Mounting and commissioning AV equipment (audio/video systems)
• Updating job records via a cloud-based system
• Demonstrating AV systems to clients
• Supporting junior engineers and collaborating with other departments
• Attending project meetings and representing the team onsite

What We're Looking For:

• 3+ years’ practical experience in AV installation
• Ability to install and commission modern video distribution/control systems
• Solid understanding of audio & video signal flow (analogue & digital)
• Experience with RS232, Dante, VoIP, IR, TCP/IP, and traditional RF/IPTV systems
• Confident working with terminations: VGA, BNC, RCA, XLR, RJ45, etc.
• Comfortable interpreting technical drawings and schematics
• Good grasp of digital signage (e.g., Onelan/Brightsign)
• Experience with lighting control (DMX, ArtNet) is a bonus

Essential:

• Full UK Driving Licence
• ECS Card (or willing to obtain)
• Willing to complete Disclosure Scotland clearance
• Positive “can do” attitude & willingness to support junior engineers
• Organised, self-motivated and able to work independently
