Groundworks Quantity Surveyor
Location: Salford
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 + Full Package
Full time, PermanentAre you an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a solid background in groundworks or civil engineering? Looking for a new challenge with a reputable contractor offering strong career stability and a great working environment?
We're working with a well-established construction company based in Salford that is looking to add a skilled QS to their commercial team. With a strong pipeline of civil and groundworks projects, you'll play a key role in ensuring commercial success across multiple sites.
The Role:
Managing all QS duties on groundworks and civil engineering projects
Accurate measurement and valuation of works
Preparing cost reports, variations, and final accounts
Liaising closely with project managers, clients, and site teams
Office-based role with occasional site visits as required
What We're Looking For:
Minimum 3 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor in groundworks or civils
Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail
Good knowledge of NEC or JCT contracts
Comfortable being office-based full-time (Salford)
Strong communication and negotiation skills
