My client is a world renown manufacturer that have been established for over 100 years with sites in all corners of the globe. As a manufacturer of high-quality hydraulic products such as seals, wipers and bearings. My client has a focus on providing fantastic customer services as well as high quality products. My client is looking for an individual to join their Procurement team as an experienced Procurement Officer. With this you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the purchasing of goods and services.
Procurement Officer
Hampton – TW12
£42,000 Basic, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, Pension and healthcare.Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Procurement and supplier Management.
- Contract negotiation with suppliers.
- Purchase orders ensuring correct policies and budgets guidelines are followed.
- Cost control and data analysis.
- Market research to identify potential suppliers and trends within the market.
- Work closely with the planning team to ensure stock levels are maintained.
- Document and report all procurement activities accurately.
- Ensure compliance laws, regulations and company polices are met.
- Work with internal teams to understand procurement needs.
To apply you MUST have or hold:
- 3-5 years experience in procurement, purchasing or supply chain management.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
- Extensive knowledge of MS Excel.
- Able to manage and analyse procurement date and reports.
- Able to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
- Strong knowledge of procurement regulations.
- Specific qualifications are advantageous – CIPS, CPSM.
- Knowledge in M3 ERP systems is beneficial.
- Fluent in Italian and/or German is beneficial
