My client is a world renown manufacturer that have been established for over 100 years with sites in all corners of the globe. As a manufacturer of high-quality hydraulic products such as seals, wipers and bearings. My client has a focus on providing fantastic customer services as well as high quality products. My client is looking for an individual to join their Procurement team as an experienced Procurement Coordinator. With this role you will be developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring company polices & regulations are met.
Procurement Co-Ordinator
Hampton – TW12
£31,000 - £33,000 Basic (DOE), 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, Pension and healthcare.Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Contract and cost negotiation with suppliers.
- Document and report all procurement activities, contracts and transactions.
- Provide reports based on market insight and improvements.
- Work with various internal teams to understand their needs and align purchasing strategies based on this.
- Create purchase orders ensuring within budget and internal needs.
- Work with internal teams to ensure stock levels are maintained.
- Ensure compliance levels are maintained within procurement laws, regulations and company policies.
To apply you MUST have or hold:
- 2-3 years experience within procurement, purchasing or supply chain management.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Fantastic communication skills both written and verbal.
- Comfortable with MS Excel.
- Experienced with procurement software and tools (ERP systems).
- Able to build strong relationships with suppliers.
- Analytical mindset with good levels of attention to detail.
- Experience in management and analysis of procurement data – conducting price comparisons and cost analysis.
- Fluency in Italian and/or German is a plus.
