Location: South Wales
Salay up to £35,000 plus bonus scheme + benefits
About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Key Account Manager to oversee key client accounts within the water hygiene sector. This role is central to ensuring exceptional service delivery, maintaining strong client relationships, and achieving commercial and operational targets.
The Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations for allocated accounts, overseeing financial performance, and supporting the development of junior team members. Working closely with senior leadership, the successful candidate will help drive improvements, enhance client satisfaction, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management: Build, manage, and develop key client accounts, ensuring strong relationships and consistent fulfilment of contractual requirements.
- Financial Oversight: Manage the Profit & Loss (P&L) for assigned accounts, ensuring profitability and financial health.
- Client Meetings: Conduct regular meetings with clients to maintain communication, address concerns, and align on project objectives.
- Performance Monitoring: Track, analyse, and report operational and financial performance to senior leadership.
- Audit & Compliance: Support both internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, health and safety standards, and best practices.
- Project Management: Develop and implement project plans including site assessments, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Team Support: Mentor junior team members through one-to-one meetings, coaching, and appraisals to support their development.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience Required
- A background in Water Hygiene.
- Ideally based in South Wales.
- Strong relationship-building and customer-focused approach.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and operational best practice.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
