Position – Joiner/Carpenter

Location – Mansfield – To work the East Midlands and near surrounding area.

Salary/Package – £32,000 - £35,000 (DOE), Van/Fuel Card, PPE/Basic Tools, Overtime available, NO callout, & future career progression.

Purpose of the Role

To carry out a wide range of joinery and general building maintenance tasks across domestic and/or commercial properties, delivering high-quality workmanship while meeting health & safety, time, and customer service standards.

Much of the work will be VOIDS.

Responsibilities:

Joinery Duties:

• First and second fix joinery
• Installation and repair of doors, frames, windows, skirting, architraves
• Kitchen fitting and unit repairs
• Flooring installation and repairs (laminate, timber, vinyl)
• Staircase and handrail installation/repairs

Working alongside people dealing with:

• Patch plastering and making good
• Basic tiling (walls and floors)
• Minor brickwork and repairs
• Basic painting and decorating
• Installation of fixtures and fittings

Must have or hold:

• An NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry & Joinery
• Ability to Read & Interpret drawings & specifications
• Full UK Licence – Ideally a manual licence
• CSCS Card

Progression through the company is possible, with in-depth experience of the role being an advantage, but not essential as full training will be provided where required.
