Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 basic

My client is a growing IT support and managed services provider, delivering reliable and proactive IT solutions to businesses. They support clients across IT support, cloud services, cyber security, infrastructure, and hardware, with a strong focus on long-term partnerships and high-quality service delivery.
The Role
My client is looking to hire an experienced Business Development Manager to manage and grow an established client base while also generating new business (new logos).
This is a hybrid role, combining account management with new business development, ideal for someone who enjoys building strong relationships, identifying opportunities within existing accounts, and closing new business.
You will be given 65 existing client accounts from day one, alongside responsibility for identifying and winning new opportunities within the SME market.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow 65 existing client accounts, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities
Generate and close new business opportunities (new logos)
Sell IT support contracts, managed services, cloud solutions, cyber security, and hardware
Build long-term relationships with key decision-makers
Prepare proposals, quotes, and commercial agreements
Work closely with technical teams to ensure smooth onboarding and delivery
Attend client meetings, reviews, and networking events
Consistently achieve and exceed agreed revenue targets
The Ideal Candidate
Proven experience as a BDM, Account Manager, or IT Sales professional
Background in IT support, managed services (MSP), or IT solutions
Comfortable managing existing accounts alongside new business development
Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills
Commercially focused and target driven
