Position – Multi Skilled Plumber
Location – Nottingham, to work in Newark, Chesterfield, Mansfield & nearby (East)
Salary/Package - £32,000 - £35,000, Van or Allowance of £300 a month, Fuel Card, 28 days holiday including Banks, OT available, NO call out.
Purpose of the role
To carry out reactive plumbing repairs and installations within void properties, ensuring homes are brought up to a safe, habitable, and lettable standard in line with company and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Undertake reactive plumbing repairs in void properties, including:
- Leaks, burst pipes, and blockages
- Repairs and replacement of taps, toilets, baths, basins, and sinks
- Hot and cold-water systems
- Soil stacks and waste pipes
As well as:
- Carry out first-fix and second-fix plumbing works in voids where required.
- Diagnose faults quickly and carry out effective repairs on first visit where possible.
- Ensure all work complies with health & safety regulations, company policies, and relevant legislation.
- Complete all jobs within target timescales to support void turnaround targets.
- Accurately complete job reports, worksheets, and update systems using handheld devices.
- Liaise professionally with supervisors, schedulers, and other trades to ensure smooth delivery of works.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment within vacant properties.
- Report any additional repairs, safeguarding issues, or property concerns identified during works.
You must have or hold:
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing (or equivalent)
- Valid UK driving licence
- CSCS Card
- Asbestos awareness
- Water Regs/G3 Unvented systems (advantageous)
Progression through the company is possible, with in-depth experience of the role being an advantage, but not essential as full training will be provided where required.
