A leading provider of fire, security, and life safety solutions is looking to recruit a Service Sales Consultant to drive growth across its service and maintenance division.
This opportunity would suit a motivated Business Development Manager or service sales professional who enjoys building long-term client relationships, developing new business, and delivering tailored service solutions that keep customers compliant and protected.
You will be joining an established and high-performing team within a group that supports multiple specialist fire and security businesses across the UK.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for growing the service and maintenance portfolio within a defined Midlands territory.
Key responsibilities include:
- Driving growth of fire and life safety service contracts across your territory
- Proactively identifying and securing new service business opportunities
- Building strong relationships with procurement teams, contract managers and compliance leads
- Conducting site surveys and preparing proposals, pricing and quotations
- Delivering consultative sales presentations demonstrating service value
- Collaborating with internal technical teams to deliver integrated fire and security solutions
- Managing pipeline activity and forecasting sales performanceThis position would also suit a Business Development Manager with experience selling service contracts, maintenance agreements, or technical solutions within facilities management or fire and security environments.
What We're Looking For
Experience
- Minimum 2 years B2B field sales experience
- Background in service contracts, facilities management, fire/security or technical solutions preferred
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targetsSkills
- Strong consultative sales approach
- Ability to communicate with senior stakeholders and decision makers
- Commercial awareness and negotiation skills
- Strong organisation and pipeline managementTechnical Knowledge (desirable)
- Fire alarm systems
- Gas suppression systems
- Security systems and integrated safety solutions- Full UK driving licence required
