North West
Location: Manchester, UK (1 day office / 4 days field)
Salary: £40,000 base (£50,000 - £70,000 OTE)

A well-established and rapidly growing materials handling provider in the UK is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to join their team. With continued investment and expansion, this is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a thriving territory across the North West, operating from the Manchester office.
The Role
As Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving growth across the North West region through the sale of new and used material handling equipment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Growing revenue within the territory through proactive sales activity
- Managing and developing relationships with existing customers
- Identifying and securing new business opportunities
- Selling across a range of solutions including equipment sales, leasing, and contract hire
- Maintaining accurate records and activity through CRM systems
- Preparing regular sales reports and forecasts
About You
- Proven experience in a field-based or area sales role
- Strong track record in both new business development and account management
- Experience selling, leasing, or contract hire solutions
- Highly organised with excellent time management skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Confident using CRM systems to manage pipeline and activity
- Background within the materials handling or related industry is essential
- Full, clean UK driving licence required
Package
- £40,000 basic salary
- £50,000 – £70,000 OTE
