Area Sales Manager
South of England
The Company
A global leader in industrial drive systems is looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager to drive sales in the South of England. Join a company with a strong reputation for innovation and quality, selling cutting-edge Power Transmission products to key industrial sectors.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing your own territory across the South of England, driving sales of new and existing products. Key responsibilities include:
- Achieving individual sales targets across your territory
- Developing and maintaining relationships with existing and new customers including OEM’s, End Users and Distributors
- Representing the company professionally in the field
- Reporting sales activity and forecasts to the Regional Sales Manager
- Extensive technical and sales training provided
This is a field-based role with hybrid working flexibility, spending time at customer sites and from home as needed.
About You
- Proven experience in a field-based sales role within the Power Transmission industry, ideally selling geared motors & associated equipment
- Experience selling into materials handling, food & beverage, or automotive sectors
- Highly motivated and target-driven
- Excellent organisation and time-management skills
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
- Understanding of power, speed, and torque fundamentals essential
- Mechanical / Electrical engineering qualifications advantageous
- Full, clean UK driving licence required
