Salary: £40,000 – £48,000 + Car Allowance + benefitsMy client is currently looking for an experienced Trend BMS Engineer to join their expanding team, supporting a range of sites and projects across Berkshire.
This role is ideal for a BMS Service / Small Works Engineer with strong experience working with Trend systems, who is looking for their next opportunity within a growing and supportive business.
Role Overview
My client is seeking a BMS Service & Small Works Engineer who will be responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding, and optimisation of Building Management Systems, with a strong focus on Trend platforms. The successful candidate will work across multiple sites ensuring systems operate efficiently and meet client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on BMS systems
• Diagnose faults quickly and accurately to minimise downtime
• Troubleshoot BMS hardware, software, and associated plant issues
• Implement minor system modifications including software upgrades and hardware replacements
• Support system optimisation and performance improvements
• Ensure BMS systems operate efficiently and meet client requirements
• Build strong client relationships and provide technical support
• Train end users in BMS system operation and functionality
• Produce clear service reports and maintain accurate documentation
• Ensure compliance with company and industry standards
• Provide on-site technical expertise to clients and internal teamsSkills & Experience
• Experience with Trend systems
• Strong knowledge of control strategies and BMS operations
• Experience with BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks, and Ethernet
• Good understanding of HVAC plant operation and electrical systems, including control panel wiring
• Strong analytical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills
• Competent in Microsoft Office and operating systems
