We are working with a well-established and growing engineering-led HVAC and specialist, delivering high-quality design, installation, and service solutions across the UK.With a strong reputation for delivering technically robust, energy-efficient solutions, they work closely with end users and major clients on both new build and retrofit projects.
About the RoleThis is an opportunity for a Design Engineer to join an experienced team, supporting the delivery of HVAC solutions across a wide range of projects.
You will be involved in the design and specification of full HVAC systems, with a particular focus on:
- Air Handling Units (AHUs)
- Air Conditioning systems (VRF, split systems, chillers)
- Refrigeration and process cooling applications
Working remotely, you will collaborate with internal teams and clients to:
- Produce HVAC system designs and technical solutions
- Support projects from concept through to completion
- Carry out equipment selection, calculations, and specifications
- Assist with quotations and technical submissions
This role offers a strong mix of technical design and client interaction, ideal for someone who enjoys working across the full project lifecycle.
What We're Looking For
We are looking to speak with candidates who have:
- Experience in HVAC design within commercial or industrial environments
- Strong knowledge of AHUs, ventilation systems, and air conditioning (chillers, VRF, etc.)
- A background in building services, HVAC contracting, or applied equipment
- The ability to design complete systems, not just select equipment
- Experience working on commercial, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or food-related projects (desirable)
- Good communication skills and confidence working with clients or internal stakeholders
