Location: London & surrounding areas
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum (depending on experience) + benefits
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Water Hygiene Plumber to join our growing team, covering sites across Watford, Reading, and the surrounding regions. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional looking to work in a supportive environment with strong career progression.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out water hygiene and plumbing tasks in line with ACOP L8 and HSG274 guidelines
- Cleaning, chlorination, and disinfection of water systems
- Temperature monitoring and sampling
- TMV servicing, installation, and maintenance
- Dead leg removals and pipework modifications
- Tank inspections, cleaning, and remedial works
- Showerhead descales and replacements
- Accurate completion of service reports and documentation
Requirements
- Proven experience in water hygiene and plumbing roles
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Plumbing (preferred)
- Able to pass an enhanced DBS
- Ideally based in around either Watford or Reading
- Good understanding of ACOP L8 and water regulations
- Experience with TMVs, tank works, and remedial plumbing
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
