Area Sales Manager - Southern Region
Location: East & West Sussex, Surrey and Berkshire
Salary: £45,000 + bonus (depending on experience)

An exciting opportunity is available for an ambitious and motivated Area Sales Manager to join a growing business within the lighting sector.

Covering East & West Sussex, Surrey and Berkshire, this field-based role will focus on managing and growing wholesale accounts across the region. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strong relationships with branch managers, buyers and trade counter teams, maintaining regular customer visits, and identifying new project opportunities to drive sales growth.

This role would suit someone who has previous experience as an Area Sales Manager and has either worked within an electrical wholesaler or sold into wholesalers. Lighting experience would be an advantage, but is not essential.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage and grow existing wholesale accounts
• Build strong relationships with branch managers, buyers and trade counters
• Follow monthly call plans to ensure all customers are visited
• Identify and target upcoming project opportunities
• Drive territory growth through strong account management and business development
