BMS Service Engineer
Location: YorkshireSalary: £40,000 – £50,000 + Company Vehicle + Healthcare Cash Plan + Death in Service
Our client, a well-established and growing building services specialist, is looking to recruit an experienced BMS Service Engineer to support sites across the Yorkshire region. This role will involve providing high-quality service, maintenance, and technical support for Building Management Systems while helping customers improve system performance and energy efficiency.
You will be responsible for maintaining strong client relationships on site, ensuring BMS systems operate reliably, and delivering professional technical support across a variety of commercial environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, and reactive repairs on Building Management Systems.
- Provide professional on-site support while maintaining high levels of customer service and communication.
- Diagnose and resolve control system faults to ensure systems operate efficiently.
- Provide energy efficiency guidance and recommend solutions to help reduce energy consumption.
- Complete and submit accurate service reports and documentation following site visits.
- Identify additional service opportunities, preparing field quotations and passing potential leads to the office.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and other engineers to resolve technical issues.
- Maintain tools and equipment while ensuring health & safety and compliance standards are followed.
Skills & Experience
- Experience working with Trend, Tridium, Delta, or Schneider BMS systems.
- Strong technical fault-finding and diagnostic skills within control systems.
- Excellent communication and customer-facing abilities.
- Good understanding of health & safety practices.
- A team-oriented approach with the ability to work independently when required.
- Knowledge of energy management principles would be advantageous.
- Full UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK.
