AV Technician (Video focused)

The Role:

To work as part of the events team, taking responsibility for preparing, setting up, troubleshooting and operating audio visual & lighting systems for corporate events with a primary focus on LED & video systems.

An ideal role for an AV Technician, Video Technician or LED Technician looking for a clear progression path.

Key duties include:

-          Assisting in the warehouse to prep equipment for each event.

-          Rigging and setting up audio, video and lighting equipment on site.

-          Assemble and configure LED video walls.

-          Set up and operation of cameras, media servers and video switchers.

-          Operation of Powerpoint presentations.

-          Fault finding and troubleshooting any issues quickly and effectively.

-          Supervision of freelance technicians on site.

-          Remaining presentable at all times and acting as a point of contact for clients throughout events.

-          Shutdown and pack away equipment after each event.

Required skills and attributes:

-          Strong working knowledge of industry-leading video and media systems including: Barco, Analog Way, Blackmagic Design, Unilumin, ROE, Sony, Panasonic, Blackmagic, Pixera, Disguise, Hippotizer

-          2+ years experience as an AV or video technician.

-          Willingness to work weekends and unsociable hours where required.

-          Driving License preferred

-          IPAF preferred

Package details:

-          Salary: £35K- £40K
