About the Business
An established M&E contractor specialising in commercial and industrial design & build projects. A significant portion of our work is within the film and TV production sector, where we are proud to collaborate with a number of high-profile clients.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking to recruit a confident, reliable, and detail-oriented Electrically biased Project Manager to join our team.
Roles & Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
▪ Developing and delivering electrical projects, ensuring completion on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
▪ Managing the preparation of project plans, risk assessments, and health and safety documentation
▪ Developing and overseeing project budgets, including cost control and forecasting
▪ Liaising with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to support effective project delivery
▪ Planning and monitoring project resources, including labour, materials, and equipment
▪ Leading and mentoring project teams
▪ Identifying and analysing project issues, and implementing solutions to support successful outcomes
▪ Managing electrical projects from concept through to completion
▪ Producing project plans and ensuring work is completed within agreed timescales
▪ Managing budgets, resources, and personnel to meet time and cost constraints
▪ Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and relevant industry standards
▪ Monitoring project progress and providing regular updates
▪ Reporting on project performance to senior management
Essential Criteria
▪ ECS 18th Edition Gold Card
▪ Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
▪ Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, suppliers, and colleagues
▪ Proven background in commercial and industrial electrical installation, including electrical control systems
▪ Ability to interpret electrical specifications, schematics, drawings, block cable diagrams, BoQs, and BoMs
▪ Good understanding of electrical standards
▪ Ability to prepare tender submissions and complete PQQs to a high standard
▪ High level of attention to detail, with strong commercial awareness and understanding of project costs
▪ Excellent IT skills, with a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office
