Location: Field-Based
Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 + Bonus (Higher Salary Considered for the Right Candidate)

This is a field-based role offering a mix of account management and new business development. You'll be responsible for managing customer relationships, identifying new opportunities, and handling the full sales process from initial enquiry through to completion.
The company has ambitious growth plans and offers excellent training, support, and genuine opportunities for career progression. You'll have the autonomy to manage your own diary and territory, giving you the flexibility to plan your week and build long-term customer relationships.
The Role
- Develop and manage relationships with existing customers across a range of industrial sectors
- Identify and win new business opportunities within your territory
- Conduct customer visits, site surveys, and technical discussions
- Provide product recommendations and technical solutions based on customer requirements
- Manage the sales process from initial contact through to quotation, negotiation, and order placement
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and project delivery
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline activity
The Candidate
We are open to candidates from a variety of backgrounds, including:
- Engineers looking to move into a customer-facing sales role
- Existing Sales Engineers seeking a new challenge
- Technical sales professionals from industrial, manufacturing, mechanical, or process industries
- Individuals with experience selling engineering products, equipment, or technical solutions
You will ideally have:
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A technical or engineering background
- A proactive and self-motivated approach
- The ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- A full UK driving licence
