Salary: £32,000 - £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Benefits: Overtime available, pension contribution, OTE Circa £45,000, 23 holiday days a year with the option to accrue an extra 2 days a month.

Due to continued growth and an increasing order book, we are looking for an experienced Panel Wirer to join our skilled manufacturing team in Stockport.
With a long-standing reputation in the global Defence & Security sector, we design and manufacture cutting-edge technology including Satellite Communications, Power Management & Control Systems, Surveillance Equipment, and Counter-IED solutions. The Role
As a Panel Wirer, you'll be responsible for building and wiring complex electrical assemblies to exacting aerospace and defence standards. Working from detailed engineering documentation, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality products for mission-critical applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Complex cabinet, rack and enclosure wiring using 22AWG-10AWG cable across power, data and RF systems.
- Panel wiring, cable routing and loom assembly to high industry standards.
- Working with bootlace ferrules, end caps, crimps, ferrules, signal cables and racking systems.
- Creating, routing and securing complex cable harnesses and looms.
- Terminating a variety of connector types including multi-pin, MIL-DTL-38999 (38999), RF, power and data connectors using crimping and soldering techniques.
- Using a variety of handheld crimping tools.
- Supporting the development of prototype and first-off units where required.
- Working accurately from engineering drawings, wiring schedules, circuit diagrams and customer assembly documentation.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3 years' experience in panel, cabinet, rack or box wiring.
