Job Title: Aluminium TIG Welder

Pay: £20.00 per hour

Reporting To: Production Manager / Fabrication Manager

Working Hours

• Monday-Thursday: 7:00am-3:30pm



• Friday: 7:00am-12:30pm



• 37.5 hours per week

Key Requirements

• Previous experience as an Aluminium TIG Welder within a fabrication, engineering, or manufacturing environment.



• Strong practical TIG welding skills, with the ability to produce consistent, high-quality welds on aluminium materials.



• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.



• Experience with preparation, measuring, grinding, drilling, and finishing.



• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high quality standards.



• Ability to safely use welding, fabrication, and lifting equipment where trained.



• Reliable, proactive, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Main Duties

• TIG welding of aluminium fabricated components to the required specification.



• Preparing, aligning, and tack-welding aluminium components in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications.



• Setting up and safely operating TIG welding and fabrication equipment.



• Carrying out preparation, cleaning, grinding, drilling, and finishing work as required for aluminium products.



• Checking finished welds and fabricated components for quality, accuracy, and conformity to specifications.



• Identifying and reporting weld defects, quality issues, or production problems to management.



• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
