About the Role:

As an Electronic Repair Technician, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing entertainment lighting and AV / audio visual equipment. You will diagnose issues, troubleshoot, and perform component level repairs on a variety of lighting fixtures, consoles, LED panels and AV equipment.

Duties:

• Service and repair entertainment lighting and audio visual equipment in the workshop.
• Raise lists of spare parts and consumables required to the procurement team.
• Diagnose issues and troubleshoot problems with moving lights, lighting consoles, and LED lighting fixtures
• Perform component level repair and soldering as needed.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in lighting technology
• Attend manufacturer training events.
• Maintenance of tools and workshop equipment.
• Adhere to health and safety policies.

Experience / Skills Required:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working within an electronic repair technician role or similar.
• Confident with crimping and soldering
• Knowledge of event technology such as moving lights, lighting consoles, and LED lighting fixtures and AV equipment would be highly beneficial.
• Relevant degree or qualification in electronics would be highly beneficial.
• Component level repair experience would be highly beneficial
