£35,000 - £40,00008:30 – 17:30 Monday - Friday
About the Role:
As an Electronic Repair Technician, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing entertainment lighting and AV / audio visual equipment. You will diagnose issues, troubleshoot, and perform component level repairs on a variety of lighting fixtures, consoles, LED panels and AV equipment.
Duties:
- Service and repair entertainment lighting and audio visual equipment in the workshop.
- Raise lists of spare parts and consumables required to the procurement team.
- Diagnose issues and troubleshoot problems with moving lights, lighting consoles, and LED lighting fixtures
- Perform component level repair and soldering as needed.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in lighting technology
- Attend manufacturer training events.
- Maintenance of tools and workshop equipment.
- Adhere to health and safety policies.
Experience / Skills Required:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working within an electronic repair technician role or similar.
- Confident with crimping and soldering
- Knowledge of event technology such as moving lights, lighting consoles, and LED lighting fixtures and AV equipment would be highly beneficial.
- Relevant degree or qualification in electronics would be highly beneficial.
- Component level repair experience would be highly beneficial
