Are you an experienced Account Manager with a technical background in cooling tower analysis or water treatment? Do you enjoy building strong customer relationships while providing expert technical support and identifying opportunities for business growth?
We are looking for a motivated and commercially minded Account Manager to manage and develop an established customer base across the Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected organisation that values technical expertise, customer service, and career development.
The Role
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing existing client relationships while identifying new business opportunities within your territory. You'll work closely with customers to ensure their cooling water systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and developing an existing portfolio of industrial and commercial accounts.
- Carrying out cooling tower water analysis and interpreting results.
- Providing technical advice and recommendations on water treatment programmes.
- Conducting routine customer visits, site inspections, and service reviews.
- Identifying opportunities to grow revenue through additional products and services.
- Working collaboratively with technical and service teams to deliver outstanding customer support.
About You
- We're looking for someone who combines technical knowledge with strong relationship-building skills.
- Previous experience in an Account Manager, Technical Sales, Service Engineer, or Water Treatment role.
- A background in cooling tower analysis and industrial water treatment.
- Strong technical understanding of cooling water systems and water chemistry.
- Excellent communication and customer relationship management skills.
