We're looking for a reliable and motivated Water Hygiene Technician to join our growing team, covering Hampshire and the South Coast. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-established company that values its people, provides ongoing training, and offers genuine career progression.
The Role
As a Water Hygiene Technician, you'll be responsible for carrying out a range of planned water hygiene duties across commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, and public sector sites, ensuring clients remain compliant with current legislation and best practice.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Temperature monitoring and water sampling.
- Cleaning and disinfection of cold water storage tanks.
- Showerhead and TMV inspection, servicing, and descaling.
- Flushing of little-used outlets.
- Closed system testing (where applicable).
- Maintaining accurate site records and completing electronic reports.
- Advising customers on water hygiene compliance and remedial recommendations.
- Delivering excellent customer service while working safely and professionally.
About You
- Previous experience as a Water Hygiene Technician.
- A good understanding of water hygiene practices and compliance requirements.
- Experience carrying out routine monitoring and remedial works.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Experience with Cooling Tower Cleans would be advantageous but not essential as training can and will be provided.
- The ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
- A full UK driving licence.
