Location: London
Salary: Up to £30,000 plus company van, plus company van, credit card, phone, PPE, uniform, employee assistance programme, BUPA annual health assessment, life assurance and 25 days holiday excluding statutory days.

Are you looking to build a rewarding career in the water hygiene industry? We are looking for a motivated and reliable Trainee Water Hygiene Engineer to join our growing team in London.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a plumbing background who is keen to develop their skills within the water hygiene and legionella compliance sector. Full on-the-job training and ongoing professional development will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out temperature monitoring and water sampling.
• Clean and disinfect cold water storage tanks.
• TMV servicing & maintenance.
• Conduct showerhead and outlet descaling.
• Assist with the inspection and maintenance of water systems.
• Complete accurate service reports using handheld devices.

Essential Requirements

• City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma or NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing.
• A genuine interest in developing a career within water hygiene.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.

Desirable

• Previous experience within plumbing, maintenance or facilities management.
• Awareness of legionella control and water hygiene practices (training can be provided).
