Plus company van, fuel card, pension, 28 days holiday including bank holsWe're looking for an Electrical Manager to lead a growing team of Electrical Engineers, overseeing the delivery of commercial electrical installations across the North West. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking building services contractor delivering innovative, low-carbon engineering projects across a variety of sectors.
The Role
As Electrical Manager, you will take ownership of electrical projects from planning through to completion, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Electrical Engineers and subcontractors across multiple projects
- Oversee electrical installations, testing and commissioning activities
- Interpret electrical and mechanical drawings to plan efficient installations
- Ensure all work complies with current regulations, health & safety requirements and company standards
- Provide technical support and guidance to engineers on site
- Liaise with clients, project managers and other trades to ensure successful project delivery
- Monitor quality, progress and project documentation
- Support the training and development of engineers and apprentices
About You
- Proven background in commercial electrical installation
- Experience leading electrical teams on site
- Strong understanding of electrical drawings and system layouts
- Experience managing multiple projects and coordinating subcontractors
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- CSCS/ECS Card
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent) preferred
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Experience working across commercial, education, healthcare, industrial or public sector projects would be highly advantageous.
