Business Development Manager

Northwest

Salary - £40,000 - £50,000 DOE + £15,000 - £30,000 OTE + Hybrid/Electric Car or Allowance + Excellent Benefits: 3x Salary Life Insurance, 4% Pension Contribution, Health Care/Dental, Company Credit Card, Laptop & Mobile Phone

This is not a replacement role, but a genuine investment in growth. The business is looking to appoint a high performing Business Development Manager who thrives on winning new business while developing an established portfolio in the future. You will be backed by a dedicated marketing team, strong operational support, and a business with an outstanding reputation in the market.

Packaging experience would be advantageous, however exceptional business developers from similar sectors may apply. (3PL for example)

The Role

• Drive new business across the Northwest and surrounding areas
• Achieve a new business target of around £400,000
• Target local businesses with a spend of around £25,000 - £40,000
• Work closely with an experienced marketing team while building your own pipeline through proactive business development
• Build long-term customer relationships and identify opportunities for sustainable growth
• Play a key role in an exciting expansion project with significant opportunities to make your mark

Requirements

• Proven track record in Business Development, Area Sales or Technical Sales
• A genuine hunter mentality with a passion for winning new business
• Packaging industry experience would be highly desirable, or similar industry
• Candidates from 3PL, logistics, manufacturing, are highly desirable
• Strong commercial awareness with excellent relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated, driven and comfortable managing your own territory
