Legionella Risk Assessor
Location: London
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 (DOE) plus company car, credit card, phone, laptop, life assurance, pension, employee assistance programme, further training & development and 25 days holiday excluding statutory daysWe are a specialist compliance business with an outstanding reputation for delivering high-quality Legionella and water hygiene services across a diverse portfolio of commercial properties. As our business continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor to become a key part of our close-knit and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Legionella Risk Assessments in accordance with ACOP L8 and HSG274 guidance.
- Inspect domestic hot and cold water systems across a range of commercial properties.
- Identify risks and recommend practical, proportionate control measures.
- Produce detailed, accurate and professional risk assessment reports.
- Create and update schematic drawings using hand-drawn or digital/CAD methods.
- Identify high-risk situations and communicate findings clearly to clients.
- Maintain accurate documentation and audit-ready records.
- Manage your own diary and workload across multiple client sites.
- Support audits, reassessments and continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential:
- Minimum 3 years' experience carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments.
- City & Guilds Legionella Risk Assessment qualification (or equivalent).
- Strong working knowledge of ACOP L8.
- Good understanding of HSG274 Parts 2 & 3
- Excellent report writing skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to think proactively and provide practical solutions on complex sites.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
