We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Site Based ServiceEngineerto join a leading machine tool business supporting a high-endOEM customer with their machinery on site.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with a strong machine tool maintenance or service backgroundwho is confident working with complex, multi-axis CNC equipment and wants to represent a premium manufacturer in front of some of the UK's leading engineering companies.
The Role
You will primarily be working on 5-axis CNC machine tools, predominantly Hermlemachines equipped with Siemens 840D / 840D controls.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Installation and commissioning of CNC machine tools
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Breakdown and fault-finding supportboth mechanically and electronically
- Working alongside customers and principal engineers during installations
- Providing a professional, high-quality service to customers
What We're Looking For
- Experience with Siemens 840D SolutionLine/Siemens 840D PowerLine
- Experience with Fanuc controls
- Heidenhain- iTNC530, TNC640 or TNC7 would be a bonus
