Trainee Water Hygiene Engineer

Location: Southwark, London
Salary: Up to £30,000 DOE

The Opportunity

We’re currently recruiting for a Trainee Water Hygiene Engineer to join a growing Maintenance Division within an established environmental and water treatment business.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a Plumbing qualification who is looking to build a long-term career within the water hygiene and water treatment industry.

You’ll receive hands-on training and development while working alongside experienced engineers, gaining valuable experience across a range of water hygiene services.

What You'll Be Doing

• Water sampling


• Temperature monitoring


• Tank cleans and inspections


• TMV servicing


• Shower cleans and maintenance


• Supporting experienced engineers with water hygiene and maintenance works


• Completing all relevant paperwork and service records

About You

• Full UK Driving Licence


• C&G Level 2 Diploma or NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing


• Ideally based in Southwark or the surrounding areas


• Ability to pass an Enhanced DBS check


• A genuine willingness to learn and develop within the water hygiene industry


• A professional approach with good communication skills


• The ability to work independently while also being part of a wider engineering team

Previous water hygiene experience isn't essential; this is a genuine opportunity to develop your skills and build a career in a specialist and growing industry.
