Essex - Hybrid Role
£60,000 - £80,000 DOE
Company Car or Car Allowance + BenefitsAn established industrial refrigeration specialist is looking to recruit an experienced Industrial Refrigeration Design Engineer to join its engineering team.
Working predominantly across food manufacturing, food production and temperature-controlled environments, you will design bespoke industrial refrigeration solutions from initial concept through to detailed design and project delivery.
The Role
- Design industrial refrigeration systems from concept through to detailed design
- Carry out refrigeration load / heat load calculations
- Select and specify refrigeration plant and equipment
- Undertake pipe sizing and develop refrigeration system layouts
- Work with ammonia (NH3), CO₂ and industrial refrigeration systems
- Liaise with clients, consultants, equipment manufacturers and suppliers
- Work closely with sales, estimating and project teams
- Provide technical support and problem solving throughout project delivery
The Candidate- Strong background within industrial refrigeration design
- Experience with ammonia (NH3) and/or CO₂ refrigeration
- Competent with refrigeration calculations, equipment selection and system design
- Able to interpret and produce technical drawings and specifications
