Position: Stores and Stock Administrator

Location: Twyford, Berkshire

Duration: Permanent

Salary: from £28,000 to £30,000 plus package

We are looking for an experienced Stores/ Stock Administrator to join a small but busy engineering company based in Twyford (near reading)

This Stores/ Stock Administrator will be managing all incoming and outgoing stock levels for the engineers and project managers. As well as this they will be dealing with administrative duties that will include:

• Direct contact with suppliers
• Creating small quotations
• Creating price plans and time scale plans for the management team
• Managing the sites compliance (pat testing, alarm testing etc)

The right person for this position will already have experience working in a stores / stock area, with the ability to managing stock levels and dealing with returns to suppliers. They will need to be physically fit as there will be heavy lifting involved. This person will also have strong administrative skills to create quotations using word and excel.

We do require this person to hold a full UK driving licence as they may be requested to pick up materials from a supplier or deliver to an engineer on site.
