SER Limited, a UK wide and International specialist technical and engineering recruitment services provider, founded and operated from within Lancashire is moving to new offices.
The company move 2 junctions westbound on the M65 from Time Technology Park in Simonstone to Capricorn Park on Greenbank Business Park in Blackburn, which sees them increase the size of their premises from 2600sq. ft. to 5014sq. ft.
The new offices will allow SER to continue their planned period of growth which has already seen them recruit a business development manager and marketing manager, both who live in Lancashire, to help move the company forward.
In late 2005, Gary Bentley (Managing Director) 41, who was born in what was Rossendale Hospital, started out as a sole trader operating from a home office in his families' home in Haslingden, a property that he still owns now.In 2006, Gary Bentley took the step and recruited his first employee, Paul Murphy, who remains a very valued member of the team to this very day.
This year sees the company celebrate 10 years, in June, since they became a limited company.
As the company has progressed, the workforce has also grown accordingly. SER currently employs 32 people from within the local community and the move to the new offices will allow SER to create a further 17 new positions over the next 18 months.
Relocating to these offices offers greater accessibility for the future growth of our own workforce, and allows SER to work towards its aim of changing the way that recruitment agencies are perceived by candidates and clients alike.
Gary Bentley has said,
