 - Location: Brighouse (HD6), West Yorkshire. Occasional UK travel. 
 Commute: Ideally within ~45 minutes (Leeds, Bradford, Huddersfield, Rochdale, Barnsley).
 Type: Full-time, permanent
 Salary:£50,000-£55,000 DOE + overtime
 Overtime rates: Weekdays x1.33, Saturday x1.5, Sunday x2
 Hours:38.5 hours/week

 - Role overview 
 
 - Office-based lead for electrical design and PLC/software support on CNC machine tools, with occasional site work. You'll diagnose electrical and PLC issues, design and document solutions, and support retrofit projects (new panels, updated CNC systems). Expect regular customer and internal engineer interaction, plus some commissioning on customer sites. 
 
 - Key responsibilities 
 
 - Provide phone/remote and on-site support for electrical and PLC faults on CNC machine tools
- Interpret and produce electrical schematics, safety circuits and documentation
- Write, modify and back up PLC/CNC software(Heidenhain, Siemens, FANUC; recent TNC 620/640 desirable)
- Support retrofitprojects: specify components, new panels, control upgrades; assist with commissioning
- Perform diagnostics including VFD/automationchecks and PLC functioninterrogation
- Assist with parts sourcing and quotations (OEM and third-party)
- Conduct annual service tasks and contribute to best-practice procedures
- Complete accurate reports; identify leads for service/spares/refurb opportunities
