BMS Commissioning Engineer
Salary - £45,000 - £55,000 (DOE) + 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, Company car or car allowance, Mobile phone and laptop, Pension scheme + more
Location: London & East Anglia
My client is seeking an experienced BMS Engineer to join their growing team, working across commissioning projects and SLA maintenance contracts. This role has a strong focus on Trend BMS systems, with exposure to Tridium Niagara, delivering reliable, efficient building control solutions across commercial sites.
The Role
- Commission and set HVAC plant to work under BMS control.
- Write, modify and fault-find BMS software control strategies.
- Work with Trend 963, IQVision, SET and IQ controllers.
- Carry out planned and reactive SLA maintenance.
- Diagnose and resolve BMS and controls faults on live systems.
- Support system optimisation and energy-saving strategies.
- Produce clear commissioning, service and handover documentation.
- Work independently or as part of a team, with some mentoring of junior engineers.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a BMS Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of Trend BMS (963, IQVision, SET).
- Understanding of HVAC systems and control sequences.
- Working knowledge or interest in Tridium Niagara (N4).
- Good IT and communication skills.
- Customer-focused and well organised.
