Location – Milton Keynes, or near surrounding area, to work the Home Counties
Salary/Package – £30,000 - £35,000, Van/Fuel Card, PPE/Tools, Door to Door Travel time, OT paid & available.

Purpose of the role
The Water Hygiene Technician is responsible for carrying out water hygiene monitoring, testing, and maintenance activities to ensure compliance with current legislation and best practice (including ACOP L8 and HSG274) across client sites throughout the Home Counties.
This role is field-based and does not require formal plumbing qualifications.
Responsibilities
- Temperature monitoring of hot and cold-water systems
- Flushing of little-used outlets
- Cleaning and disinfection of water outlets (e.g. taps, showerheads)
- TMV (Thermostatic Mixing Valve) temperature checks and inspections
- Cold water storage tank inspections (visual)
- Sampling for Legionella and other microbiological parameters (where trained)
- Accurate completion of site logbooks and digital reports
- Identification and reporting of potential risks or non-compliance
- Maintaining high standards of health & safety on site
- Providing a professional and courteous service to clients
You must have or hold
- Up to 2 years’ experience, or more
- Full UK Licence
- Strong attention to detail and record keeping
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Good communication and customer service skills
Progression through the company is possible, with in-depth experience of the role being an advantage, but not essential as full training will be provided where required.
