Junior Data Analyst
Gatwick
£27,000 – £29,500 + Benefits + Training/Development
Full-time | Office-based | 5 days per weekThe Company
My client, a growing technology-led organisation specialising in building systems integration, is looking to recruit a Junior Data Analyst to join their expanding team based in Gatwick. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, systems, and structured processes, and who takes pride in accuracy and organisation.
This position sits within the systems integration team and plays a key role in preparing and structuring data so that building performance can be clearly visualised through dashboards and reporting tools. The role does not require programming experience — instead it would suit someone with strong attention to detail, confidence using digital systems, and the ability to follow clear processes.
This is a full-time, office-based role working five days per week from my client’s Gatwick office, providing close collaboration with the wider integration and engineering teams.
The Role
As a Junior Data Analyst, you will work from a central system interface to review site information, organise it into structured data containers, and map key data points so they can be displayed through dashboards and charts. Your work will support the delivery of building performance insights across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and assess incoming site data through the system interface
- Create structured containers for building assets such as Air Handling Units, Sensors, Electrical systems, Water systems, and Energy Meters
- Input and map data points into the appropriate data structures
- Configure dashboards and charts to visualise building system performance
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of system data
- Work closely with the wider integration team to ensure projects are delivered on time and to required standards
About You
The ideal candidate will be organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with digital systems and structured data tasks.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Confident using computers and digital platforms
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when working with data
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to follow processes and structured instructions
- Comfortable carrying out repetitive but precise tasks
Desirable
- Previous experience in data entry, system configuration, or dashboard setup
- Exposure to building systems, automation platforms, or facilities data (not essential as full training will be provided)
What My Client Offers
- Competitive salary of £27,000 – £29,500
- Full training on specialist data management and visualisation tools
- Supportive team environment with opportunities for development
- Career progression within a fast-growing technology and building systems sector
- Company pension
- Free on-site parking
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop a career within technology, systems integration, and data-driven building management, while gaining hands-on experience with industry tools and platforms.
