Commercial Maintenance Electrician
Location: Lancashire & Greater Manchester
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 + Overtime + Company Van

Are you an experienced Commercial Electrician who thrives on fault finding, reactive maintenance and keeping commercial buildings running safely?

We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established building services contractor with over 25 years of success and long-term framework contracts across the North West. Due to continued growth, they're looking to add an experienced Commercial Electrician to their maintenance team.

The Role

• This is a predominantly reactive maintenance position covering commercial, public sector and industrial buildings throughout Lancashire and Greater Manchester.
• You'll be responsible for:
• Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults across commercial buildings
• Responding to reactive maintenance callouts
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
• Conducting EICR testing, emergency lighting testing and distribution board health checks
• Installing, upgrading and maintaining electrical systems and equipment

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• Proven experience in commercial electrical maintenance
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills with a focus on first-time fixes
• Experience working within live commercial environments such as NHS sites, schools, public buildings or industrial facilities
• Excellent understanding of electrical safety standards and regulations
• Full UK Driving Licence with a clean licence preferred
• Able to pass an Enhanced DBS check
