Commercial Gas Engineer
Location: Lancashire & Greater Manchester
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 + Overtime + Company Van

Are you an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer who enjoys fault finding, diagnosing breakdowns and fixing problems first time?

We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established building services contractor with over 25 years of success and long-term framework contracts across the North West. Due to continued growth, they're looking to add another experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to their maintenance team.

The Role

• You'll be carrying out reactive breakdowns, servicing and maintenance across a varied portfolio of commercial properties including NHS sites, schools, public buildings, industrial facilities and corporate premises.
• You'll be responsible for:
• Diagnosing and repairing commercial gas and mechanical plant faults
• Servicing boilers and commercial heating systems
• Working on pumps, valves, vessels, AHUs, fan coils, burners and associated plant
• Completing repairs efficiently with a strong focus on first-time fixes

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Commercial Gas Engineer in a reactive maintenance environment
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Experience working on commercial plant room equipment
• ACS Commercial Gas qualifications
• Full UK Driving Licence with a clean licence preferred
• Comfortable working in live environments including hospitals, schools and public sector buildings
• Able to pass an Enhanced DBS check
