Are you mechanically minded and enjoy working hands-on in the field? We're looking for a PCF (Pile Cloth Filter) Mechanical Cleaner to join a growing and well-established business.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with mechanical aptitude who enjoys problem-solving, working independently, and delivering a high standard of service.

The Role

As a PCF Mechanical Cleaner, you'll be responsible for servicing, cleaning and maintaining Pile Cloth Filter (PCF) systems at customer sites, ensuring equipment operates efficiently and reliably.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Cleaning and maintaining PCF (Pile Cloth Filter) systems.
• Carrying out routine mechanical inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Diagnosing and resolving minor mechanical faults.
• Replacing worn components where required.
• Completing service reports and maintenance documentation.
• Working closely with customers to ensure minimal disruption during service visits.
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety at all times.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a mechanical maintenance, service engineer or field-based role is desirable.
• Experience working with filtration equipment, wastewater, water treatment or industrial plant would be advantageous.
• Good mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Comfortable working on customer sites and travelling throughout the region.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Strong communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
