Water Hygiene Engineer

Location: Preston (Covering Burnley & Blackburn)
Salary: Up to £32,000 (Depending on Experience) plus company  van, fuel card, door to door travel, overtime, phone, tools, uniform , PPE, pension and 28 days holiday including statutory days with the option to buy additional days

We're working with a well-established and growing water compliance company that is looking to expand its engineering team across the North West. Due to continued growth and the addition of new contracts, they're seeking a reliable and motivated Water Hygiene Engineer to cover sites across Preston, Burnley and Blackburn.

Key Responsibilities

• Temperature monitoring and sampling
• Showerhead and TMV servicing
• Tank inspections and chlorination
• Cleaning and disinfection of cold water storage tanks
• Cooling Tower Cleans (desirable)
• Water sampling for microbiological analysis
• Accurate completion of site reports using electronic systems
• Building strong relationships with customers on-site
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Water Hygiene Engineer
• Good understanding of ACOP L8 and HSG274 guidance
• Full UK driving licence
• Able to pass an enhanced DBS
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
