Static Water Hygiene Engineer

Location: Birmingham
Salary: Up to £32,000 (Depending on Experience) plus van, fuel card, door to door travel, phone, uniform, tools, pension and 28 days holiday including statutory days with the option to buy additional days

We're working with a leading water compliance company that is looking to recruit a Static Water Hygiene Engineer to work permanently on a prestigious healthcare site in Birmingham.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer seeking a stable, site-based role where you'll play a vital part in maintaining safe water systems within a critical healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Temperature monitoring and water sampling
• Showerhead cleaning, descaling and disinfection
• TMV inspections, servicing and maintenance
• Flushing of little-used outlets
• Cold water storage tank inspections
• Assisting with remedial water hygiene works where required
• Accurate completion of electronic logbooks and compliance records
• Liaising with site management and facilities teams
• Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with current legislation and company procedures

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Water Hygiene Engineer
• Good understanding of ACOP L8 and HSG274
• Experience working within healthcare or other critical environments is desirable but not essential
• Able to pass an enhanced DBS
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently while being part of an on-site team
• Full UK driving licence
