Water Hygiene Engineer

Location: Newcastle (Covering the North East & up to Edinburgh)
Salary: Up to £32,000 (Depending on Experience) plus van, fuel card, door to door travel, phone, uniform, pension, ongoing training and 28 days holiday including statutory days with the option to buy  additional holidays.

We're working with a well-established and growing water compliance company that is continuing to expand across the UK. Due to the award of new contracts, they're looking to recruit an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer to cover commercial and industrial sites throughout Newcastle and the surrounding North East.

Key Responsibilities

• Temperature monitoring and water sampling
• Showerhead descales and disinfection
• TMV inspections, servicing and maintenance
• Cold water storage tank inspections
• Tank cleaning and chlorination
• Cooling Tower Cleans (desirable)
• Accurate completion of electronic reports and site documentation
• Building and maintaining excellent client relationships
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with company procedures

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Water Hygiene Engineer
• Good knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG274 guidance
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage your own diary
• Flexibility to travel across Newcastle and the wider North East
