Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer
Location: Lancashire

Salary: Up to £30,000 (depending on experience) + benefits

About the Role

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Water Hygiene Engineer to join our growing team. This is a field-based role covering sites in and around the local area, where you will play a key role in ensuring compliance with water hygiene standards across a range of client environments.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in cooling tower and CWST (Cold Water Storage Tank) cleaning and disinfection, with a strong understanding of industry regulations and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning and disinfection of cooling towers and CWSTs
• Perform routine water hygiene tasks including temperature monitoring, sampling and flushing
• Ensure all works are completed in line with ACoP L8 and HSG274 guidelines
• Accurately complete service reports and documentation
• Identify and report any risks or non-compliance issues
• Maintain excellent client relationships while on-site
• Follow all health & safety procedures and company protocols

About You

• Previous experience as a Water Hygiene Engineer or similar role
• Proven experience with cooling tower and CWST cleaning (essential)
• Good knowledge of Legionella control and water hygiene compliance
• Full UK driving licence
• Able to pass an enhanced DBS
